Ingredients
- चवळी शेंग / चवली फलियां / Beans – 250 gms
- तेल / Oil – 2 tbsp
- मोहरी / राई / Mustard seeds – 1 tsp
- िजरे / जीरा / Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
- लसुन / लेहसुन / Garlic – 1 tbsp
- कांदा / प्याज / Onion – 1
- हळद / हल्दी / Turmeric – 1/2 tsp
- ितखट / लाल िमर्च / Chili powder – 1 tsp
- टमाटा / टमाटर / Tomato – 1
- मीठ / नमक / Salt – per taste
- कोथंबीर / धिनया पत्ता / Chopped coriander leaves
Instructions
- Wash and clean beans, chop to 1/2 inch pieces
- Take a pan, heat oil,
- Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, saute till mustard splutter
- Add chopped garlic, saute for 30 sec
- Add chopped onion, saute till onion is soft
- Add chopped tomato, saute till tomato is soft
- Add chopped beans, mix well
- Add salt to taste, mix well
- Add little water to help with cooking
- Cover and cook 4-5 mi or until beans are soft
- Add roasted crushed peanuts, mix well
- Garnish with coriander leaves
- Beans bhaji ready to serve!
Tips
- Wash and clean fresh beans before cutting
- Adjust cooking time to get desired crunch to beans
- Roasted peanuts gives nice crunch
- Serve with chapati, roti
