Chicken Manchurian Recipe

Ingredients Crispy chicken

  • कोंबडी / मुर्गी / Chicken boneless- 500gm
  • मीठ / नमक / Salt – 1tsp
  • अंड / अंडा / Egg whites – 2
  • कॉर्न स्टार्च/ Corn Starch – 3 tbsp
  • तेल / Oil for frying

Instructions – Crispy chicken

  1. Clean boneless chicken throughly and cut in small pieces
  2. Add salt, mix well
  3. Add 2 egg whites over chicken mix well
  4. Heat oil on medium
  5. Fry chicken pieces, turn occasionally till crispy. Set aside chicken

Ingredients Manchurian

  • तेल / Oil – 4 tbsp
  • लसुन / लेहसुन / Garlic chopped – 3-4
  • अद्रक / अदरक / Ginger grated – 1 tbsp
  • कांदा / प्याज / Onion – 1 small
  • गाजर / Carrot – 1 sliced
  • िशमला िमर्च / Green Pepper – 1 /4 cup
  • िशमला िमर्च / Yellow Pepper – 1 /4 cup
  • िशमला िमर्च / Red Pepper – 1 /4 cup
  • िचली सौस / Chili sauce – 3 tbsp
  • सोया सौस / Soy sauce – 4 tbsp
  • िलम्बू / Lime juice – 1 tsp
  • साखर / शक्कर / Sugar – 1 tsp
  • मीठ/ नमक / Salt – per taste
  • कॉर्न स्टार्च/ Corn Starch slurry – 2 tbsp

Instructions – Manchurian

  1. Take a large pot, heat oil
  2. Add chopped garlic, ginger, saute well
  3. Add onion, saute till onions are done
  4. Add carrot, saute for 1-2 min
  5. Add green peppers, yellow peppers, red peppers, saute for 1-2 min
  6. Add chili sauce, mix well
  7. Add soy sauce, mix well
  8. Add sugar, mix well
  9. Add little water to help with cooking
  10. Adjust salt
  11. Add corn starch slurry, mix well
  12. Toss everything together for 1-2 min on high flame.
  13. Chicken Manchurian is ready to Serve

How to serve

  1. Serve hot!
  2. Serve as starter or with rice as side

Tips

  1. Fry on medium heat to get even cook
  2. To make sulrry use 1 portion corn starch and 2 portion water
  3. Avoid cooking cooking vegies, little crunch gives nice taste to this recipe
