Ingredients Tikat dashmi
- लसुन / लेहसुन / Garlic – 3-4
- िजरे / जीरा / Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
- ओवा / अजवाइन / Ajwain – 1/2 tsp
- कोथंबीर / धिनया पत्ता / Coriander leaves
- गहु पीठ / गेहू आटा / Wheat flour – 2 cups
- बेसन / Gram flour – 1/4 cup
- बाजरी पीठ / बाजरा आटा / Pearl millet flour – 1/3 cup
- कळण्याचे पीठ / जुवार + उरद आटा / Sorghum flour – 3 tbsp + Black gram flour – 3 tbsp
- तीळ / तील / Sesame seeds – 1 tbsp
- कांद्याचे बी / कलोंजी / Onion Seeds – 1 tsp
- मीठ / नमक / Salt – per taste
- हींग / Asafoetida – a pinch
- हळद / हल्दी / Turmeric – 1/8 tsp
- मेथी / Fenugreek leaves – 1.5 cup
- तेल / Oil – 2 tbsp
Making dashmi
- Grind garlic, cumin seeds, ajwain, coriander leaves together make coarse paste, set aside
- I bowl take wheat flour, gram flour, pearl millet flour, sorghum flour, black gram flour, sesame seeds, onion seeds, salt to taste, asafoetida, turmeric, fenugreek leaves mix well
- Add little water at a time to make medium dough, set aside dough for 20 min
- Now take small dough portion,
- dust platform, place dough and roll a little, add fre drops of oil on top, spread well, fold it half, the fold again.
- Now roll the folded dough to flat.
- Dashmi is ready yo bake
- Heat tava on medium, bake paratha from both sides.
- Add few drops of oil on both side while baking together crisp dashmi
- Dashmi is ready!
Ingredients Thecha
- िहरवी िमरची / हरी िमर्च / Green Chili – 1 cup
- तेल / Oil – 2 tbsp
- लसुन / लेहसुन / Garlic – 4-5
- कोथंबीर / धिनया पत्ता / Coriander leaves – 1/4 cup
- मीठ / नमक / Salt – per taste
- टमाटा / टमाटर / Tomato – 2
Making Thecha
- Roast chilis till soft
- Transfer chili to mortar, add garlic, coriander leaves, salt to taste, smash it coarse.
- Now heat a pan, add tomatos, saute till tomatos are soft
- Add oil, add chili paste saute well, mix well with tomatoes, saute for 2 min
- Spicy theta is ready!
Tips
- Same recipe can be made with spinach and bottle guard
- Perfect travel receipes, these dashamis are are good for 2 days
- Use medium spice green chutney for thecha
- Use cherry tomatos are best suited for thecha
How to serve
- Serve with any chutney, pickles
