Ingredients – Strawberry Ice cream
- आंबा / आम / Mango – 2-3
- दूध पावडर / Milk powder – 1/4 cup
- कॉर्न स्टार्च / Corn starch – 1 tbsp
- दूध / Milk – 1 cup
- पीठी साखर / शक्कर / Powdered Sugar -1/4 cup
- कंडेन्सड दूध / Condensed Milk -1/4 cup
- Heavy cream – 1 cup
- खाण्याचे रंग / Kesar Food color (optional)
Instructions
- Peel ripped mangos, cut in small pieces, discard seeds
- Grind mangos to fine puree, set aside
- In a mixing bowl, add milk powder, corn starch, add little milk and whisk to make it smooth paste,
- Add remaining milk and mix well
- Add powdered sugar, mix well
- Heat a pan open low heat, cook the mixture till it thickens, stir continuously to avoid lumps
- Once the mixture thickens, turn off heat, transfer to mixing bowl for cooling
- Now add mango puree to cooled milk mixture, mix well, set aside
- Take another bowl, add heavy cream , whip till it becomes light and fluffy
- Add mango mixture, whip again to till light and fluffy
- Add kesar color to get additional mango color, this is an optional step
- Mango Ice-cream is ready to freeze
- Freeze ice-cream for 7-8 hours in air tight container
- Refreshing divine Mango Ice-cream is ready!
How to serve
- Serve chilled!
- You could top the ice-cream with some ripe mango pieces to extra flavors
Tips
- Whipping machine can save you some time
- Use super chilled bowl and heavy cream to reduce whipping time and efforts
- As per choice, add more condensed milk to increase sweetness
