Ingredients – Marinating Chicken

  • भात / पका चावल / Cooked rice – 2 cup
  • अदरक / Ginger(chopped) – 1 tsp
  • फरसबी/ Green beans(fine chopped)-2 tbsp
  • गाजर / Carrot(grated) -1
  • कांदा / प्याज / Onion (fine chopped) – 1 small
  • मीठ / नमक / Salt – as per taste
  • मिरची / Green Chili (fine chopped)-1/2 tsp
  • लाल मिरची / Red Chili flakes -1/2 tsp
  • जीर / जीरा / Cumin seeds – 1/2 tsp
  • धने / धनिया / Coriander powder – 1/2 tsp
  • चाट मसाला / Chaat Masala – 1/2 tsp
  • Corn starch- 2 tbsp
  • बटाटा / आलू / Potato -1
  • मीरे पूड / काली मिर्च / Black pepper powder – 1/4 tsp
  • Oil for frying

Marinating Rice Balls

  1. Take a mixing bowl, add cooked rice, left over rice from previous day works as good for this recipe
  2. Add ginger, green beans, carrot, onion, salt, green chili, red chili flakes, cumin seeds, coriander seeds, coriander powder, chat masala, corn starch, boiled potato, black pepper powder, mix well
  3. Now grease hands and make small lime size balls.
  4. Heat oil for frying, fry rice balls, turn occasionally, fry till golden
  5. Yummy Rice balls are ready

Tips

  1. Left over rice works as goos for this recipe.
  2. Air fry for 12-15 min on 375 F / 190 C for healthier option

How to serve

  1. Serve hot
  2. Serve with ketchup, chutney or green peas curry
