Ingredients – Marinating Chicken
- चिकन / Chicken – 1 kg
- मीठ / नमक / Salt – as per taste
- दही / Curd – 1/4 cup
Marinating chicken
- Take around 1 kg chicken in bowl and wash throughly
- Add salt and curd coat chicken with salt and curd and keep it side
Ingredients – Making chicken
- डाळ्या / Daria split – 1 tbsp
- तीळ / तील / Sesame seeds – 1 tbsp
- खसखस / poppy seeds – 1 tbsp
- बडीशेप/ सौंफ / Fennel seeds – 1 tsp
- धने / धिनया / Coriander seeds – 2 tbsp
- लाल िमरची / Dry red chilli – 4-5
- खोब्र / नािरयल / Dry Coconut powder – 2 tbsp
- अदरक / Ginger – 1 inch
- लसुन / लेहसुन / Garlic – 8-10 cloves
- गरम मसाला / Garam Masala – 1 tsp
- तेल / Oil – 3 tbsp
- कांदा / प्याज / Onion – 2
- हळद / हल्दी / Turmeric – 1 tsp
Making Chicken
- Heat pan on low – medium, add daria split, roast them till golden remove and keep a side
- Add sesame seeds roast them till seeds puff remove and keep a side
- Add poppy seeds roast till golden remove and keep a side
- Add fennel seeds roast them till golden remove and keep a side
- Add dry red chili roast for 30 sec on low heat puff remove and keep a side
- Add dry coconut roast till golden remove and keep a side
- Take grinding jar add all roasted ingredients grind them to powder, now in same jar add garlic, ginger, garam masala powder grind again to fine paste by adding little water
- Heat pan on medium add oil
- Add chopped onion sauté till soft, now add marinated chicken and turmeric powder, mix and cover for 2-3 min
- Now add grinder masala paste, mix well cover and cook on medium heat until chicken is soft, turn occasionally in between
- Once chicken cooked, mouthwatwering chicken suck/chicken dry is ready
Tips
- Marinating chicken gives it a nice flavor
- Boneless chicken can also be used for this recipe
- Grinding masala fine gives nice coating to chicken
