Ingredients – Chicken lollipop
- Whole Chicken wings – 4
Preparing meat
- If you already have meat prepared as lollipops, skip this step
- Take chicken wing cut and discard the end part of wing and cut the wing in 2 portions.
- Take the portion with single bone, scrape the meat one end, and the pull the meat in other direction, giving it a shape of lollipop
- Take the potion with double bone, cut and remove smaller bone from both ends, now scrape meat on one end and pull meat to other direction giving it a shape of lollipop
- Repeat for remaining wing portions
Ingredients – Chicken lollipop
- Chicken wing lollipops – 8
- लसुन / लेहसुन / Garlic (grated) – 1 tbsp
- अदरक / Ginger (grated)- 1tbsp
- Soy Sauce – 1 tbsp
- मिरची / Green Chili (fine chopped)- 1/2 tsp
- मीठ / नमक / Salt – as per taste
- मीरे पूड / काली िमर्च / Black pepper powder – 1/2 tsp
- लिंबू / नींबू / Lime juice – 1 tsp
- Red Chili sauce – 1 tbsp
- अंड / अंडा / Egg – 1
- मैदा / White flour – 3 tbsp
- Corn Starch – 4 tbsp
- तेल / Oil for frying
Making chicken lollipops
- Take all the wings a bowl, add garlic, ginger, spy sauce, green chili, salt to taste, black pepper powder, lime juice, chili sauce, mix well and rub the mix well over chicken meat
- Now cover and set aside lollipops for 30min
- After 30 min, pour one whole egg in the marination, run the egg over the chicken lollipops
- Add white flour, corn starch, mix and coat all over the lollipops
- Heat oil on med for frying
- Drop coated lollipops in hot oil, fry to crispy, turn occasionally
- Lollipops are ready, if you like you serve them as it is, tastes really well
Ingredients – Sauce
- तेल / Oil – 2 tbsp
- अदरक / Ginger (fine chopped)- 1tsp
- लसुन/ लेहसुन/ Garlic (fine chopped) -1 tbsp
- Chili flakes – 1 tbsp
- Soy sauce- 2 tsp
- Ketchup – 1 tsp
- Red chili sauce- 1 tsp
- पातीचा कांदा / Spring onion – 2 tbsp
- मीठ / नमक / Salt – as per taste
- Corn starch – 1 tbsp
Making – Sauce
- Heat a wok/deep pan on medium heat, add oil
- Add ginger, garlic, sauté for 30 sec
- Add chili flakes sauté for 30 sec
- Add soy sauce, ketchup, red chili sauce, mix well
- Add spring onion, sauté for 30 sec
- Add salt to taste, mix well
- Now prepare a corn starch slurry by adding 1tbsp corn starch with 2 tbsp water, and pour in the pot.
- Mix well and cook till sauce thickens
- Add fried lollipops to the sauce, toss and mix gently to get nice even coat
- Crispy, tasty chicken lollipops are ready!
How to serve
- Serve hot!
- Serve as starter
Tips
- Lollipops can also be prepared with skin out chicken
- If you prefer, can be served right after frying, without sauce
- Add 2-1 drops of red color (optional)
- Serve hot for crispy bites as starter
