Ingredients – Tomato Soup

  • तेल / Oil – 1 tbsp
  • लसुन / लेहसुन / Garlic cut – 2-3
  • कांदा / प्याज / Onion chopped – 1
  • मीठ / नमक / Salt – as per taste
  • मटर / Green Peas – 1/2 cup
  • Water – 3 cups
  • Broccoli florets small – 3 cups
  • बटर / Butter – 2 tbsp
  • मैदा / White flour – 1 tbsp
  • दूध / Milk – 1 cup
  • मीरे पूड / काली मिर्च / Black peppers – 1/2 tsp

Making Soup

  1. Heat a pan on med, add 1 tbsp oil
  2. Add chopped garlic, sauté for 30 sec
  3. Add chopped onion, sauté till it is soft
  4. Add salt to taste, add green peas, mix well
  5. Add 3 cups of water, bring it boil
  6. Add broccoli florets, mix well, cover and cook till broccoli is soft, turn off heat
  7. Let it cool down, strain out the water, now grind the broccoli to fine puree
  8. Now heat a pan on med, add 1 tbsp butter, add white flour, mix well, roast till light brown
  9. Add little milk at a time, and mix well avoid lumps, make puree
  10. Add broccoli puree, mix well
  11. Add black pepper powder, mix well, cook for 2 min
  12. Add 1 tbsp butter, mix well
  13. Creamy broccoli soup is ready!

Tips

How to serve

  1. Serve Hot!
  2. Serve with garlic bread, you can also top it with come croutons!
