Ingredients – Malaijamun
- पनीर / Paneer – 1 cup
- बटाटा/आलू/Potato, boiled mashed- 1 cup
- मीठ / नमक / Salt – as per taste
- साबुदाणा / Tapioca powder – 2 tbsp
- साखर / शक्कर / Sugar – 1 tsp
- Mix nuts fillings
- Oil for frying
Ingredients- Sugar syrup
- साखर / शक्कर / Sugar – 1.5 cups
- Water – 1.5 cups
- इलायची / Cardamom powder – 1/4 tsp
Making – Malaijamun
- Take grated paneer in mixing bowl and knead it to soft dough
- Add boiled mashed potato to bowl, mix well
- Add salt, tapioca powder, sugar, mix well, Jamun dough is ready!
- Grease palms, take small lime size portion, make is flat, place little mixed nut filling in middle and cover it with with dough from all sides
- Role between your palms to make it round balls
- Repeat for remaining Jamuns
- Heat oil on medium, drop jamuns in oil, fry till golden on all sides, turn occasionally, set aside fried jamun balls
- Heat pan on medium, add sugar, water, mix well till sugar is dissolved
- Bring to boil, add cardamom powder, mix well
- Now drop Jamun balls in sugar syrup, cover and cook for 8-10 on low heat
- Let it cool down completely
- Lets make Malai, heat pan on medium, add milk, cook on low-medium heat till milk reduces and becomes thick, we will use this as toppings for jamun.

Tips
- Makes 18-16 jamuns
- Roasted cashew, almonds, pista can be usedfor mixed nut filling
- Malai compliments jamuns and brings it a nicerich flavor
- Sighada flour can be used as alternative totapioca powder
- For non vrat recipe corn flour/ Maida can beused as alternative to tapioca powder
