क्रिस्पी चिकन लॉलीपॉप | Crispy Chicken Lollipop

Ingredients – Cooking Chicken

  • चिकन / Chicken boneless – 500 gm
  • लसुन / लेहसुन / Garlic – 6-7 cloves
  • अदरक /Ginger – 1 inch
  • बटर / Butter – 1 tbsp
  • मीठ / नमक / Salt – as per taste
  • जीरेपूड / जीरा / Cumin powder – 1/2 tsp
  • Chili flakes – 1 tbsp
  • Bread crumbs – 1/4 cup
  • कांदा / प्याज / Onion – 1 chopped
  • कोथंबीर / धनिया / Coriander
  • चीज़ / Cheese – 1 tbsp (optional)
  • गरम मसाला / Garam Masala – 1/4 tsp
  • मीरे पूड / काली िमर्च / Pepper powder – 1/2 tsp
  • तेल / Oil – 2 tbsp
  • Corn starch – 3 tbsp
  • Breab crumb – 1 cup
  • Oregano -1/4 tsp

Prepration Chickenpops

  1. Wash chicken throughly with water and cut in to small pieces
  2. Take grinding jar, add chicken pieces, ginger garlic and grind all together
  3. Remove minced chicken to mixing bowl
  4. Add butter, salt, cumin powder, bread crumbs, chili flakes, onion, coriander leaves, cheese, garam masala, pepper powder. Mix everything together
  5. Take small orange size portion spread over palm
  6. Put popsicle stick on that spreaded portion and cover stick with minced chicken by pressing firm and give lollipop shape as per liking
  7. Similarly make all lollipops
  8. Take wide bowl add cornstarch and water mix together and make slury
  9. In a plate add breadcrumbs and oregano mix together
  10. Take a lollipop deep it in slurry and then add to breadcrumbs, Coat lollipop completely with breadcrumbs
  11. Repeat step 10 again to get nice crunch to lollipops
  12. Same way make all lollipop ready for cooking

Cooking Chickenpops

Method 1 – Deep frying

  1. Heat oil for deep frying in pan on medium
  2. Add 3-4 lollipops in pan for frying turn them around for even cooking on medium heat
  3. Turn occasionally and cook lollipops till it become golden in color, remove in plate
  4. Fry remaining lollipop same way

Method 2 – Baking

  1. Preheat oven on 400 degree Fahrenheit / 200 degree Celsius
  2. Grease baking tray, place lollipops in tray, spray little oil on lollipops and bake for 20-25 min, half way through flip lollipop to cook evenly on both sides.
  3. Remove tray from oven after baking

Method 3 – Shallow Fry

  1. Take a pan, heat on medium.
  2. Add little oil to the pan, add lollipops
  3. Cook all sides evenly till golden
  4. Cook all lollipops

Ingredients – Sauce

  • तेल / Oil – 1 tbsp
  • लसुन / लेहसुन / Garlic – 2-3 chopped
  • Chili flakes – 1 tsp
  • पाथीचा कांदा / Green Onion – 1 tbsp
  • सोय / Soy sauce – 1 tbsp
  • Ketchup – 1 tsp
  • Chili sauce – 1/4 tsp
  • Corn starch slurry – 1/4 cup

Instructions – Sauce

  1. Take a pan, heat on medium, add oil
  2. Add garlic, chili flakes, green onion to the pan, sauté for 30 sec
  3. Add soy sauce, ketchup and chili sauce, sauté for another 30 sec
  4. Add corn starch slurry, mix well and cook till sauce thickens
  5. Transfer to bowl and serve with chicken lollipop

Tips

  1. Readymade minced chicken can also be used, just add garlic and ginger paste to it
  2. Air frying is another healthier option of cooking
  3. Spray little oil on chicken lollipops while baking to get golden color
  4. Make lollipops shapes to your choice i.e. round, oval
  5. Mayonnaise, Ketchup are other quick dip options

How to serve

  1. Serve hot
  2. Serve with Sauce, Mayonnaise, Ketchup
