Ingredients
- टमाटा / टमाटर / Tomatoes – 2
- काजू / Cashew – 2 tbsp
- लाल मिरची / लाल सूखी मिर्च / Red dry chili – 4-5
- तेल / Oil – 4 tbsp
- दालिचनी / Cinnamon – 1/2 inch
- तमालपत्र / तेज़पत्ता / Bayleaf – 2
- मोठी इलायची / मोटी इलायची / Black Cardamom – 1
- कांदा / प्याज / Onion – 1
- अद्रक / अदरक / Ginger grated- 1 tbsp
- लसुन / लेहसुन / Garlic grated – 1 tbsp
- हळद / हल्दी / Turmeric – a pinch
- ितखट / मिर्च पाउडर / Chili powder – 1 tsp
- धणे पूड / धनिया पाउडर / Coriander powder- 1 tsp
- जिरे पूड / जीरा पाउडर / Cumin powder – 1 tsp
- मीठ / नमक / Salt – per taste
- गरम मसाला / Garam Masala – 1 tsp
- साखर / शक्कर / Sugar – 1 tsp
- ताजे मलई / ताजा क्रीम / Fresh cream – 1/4 cup
- कोथंबीर / धिनया पत्ता / Coriander leaves
- पनीरचे तुकडे / पनीर के टुकड़े / Paneer cubes – 100 gms
- कसुरी मेथी / Kasoori Methi – 1 tsp
Instructions
- Heat water in a pot
- Slit tomatoes and add them to hot water
- Add cashew, red dry chili, boil everything together for 4-5 min
- Strain on everything, let it cool down
- Once cooled Grind everything to a fine puree, set aside
- In pan, heat oil
- Add cinnamon, bayleaf, black cardamom, saute till arromatic
- Add onion, mix and cook till onion softens
- Add grated ginger and garlic, mix well
- Add tomato puree, mix well, cover and cook for 2-3 min
- Add turmeric, chili powder, mix well, add little water mix well, cover and cook for 1-2 min
- Add coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala, salt to taste, sugar, mix well, cover and cook for 1-2 min
- Add fresh cream, mix well
- Add coriander leaves, mix well
- Add paneer cubes, mix well
- Add kasoori methi mix well, cover and cook for 1-2 min
- Ready to serve!
Tips
- Adjust spiciness to yor liking
- Dont overcook paneer in masala
- Serve Roti, Naan, Rice
