Ingredients

  • उकडलेले बटाटे / उबले आलू / Boiled Potato – 3
  • मिरची फ्लेक्स / मिर्च पपड़ी / Chili flakes- 1 tsp
  • मिरपूड / काली मिर्च पाउडर / Black peppers – 1 tsp
  • जिरे पूड / धनिया पाउडर / Cumin powder – 1/2 tsp
  • चाट मसाला / Chaat Masala – 1/2 tsp
  • मीठ / नमक / Salt – per taste
  • गरम मसाला / Garam Masala – 1/2 tsp
  • शिमला मिर्च / Green Pepper – 2 tbsp
  • कांदा / प्याज / Onion – 3 tbsp
  • गाजर / Carrot grated – 2 tbsp
  • कोथंबीर / धिनया पत्ता / Coriander leaves – 2 tbsp
  • ब्रेड क्रम्ब / Bread crumb – 1/3 cup
  • चीज / Cheese – 1/4 cup
  • तेल / Oil – 1 tsp
  • कॉर्न स्टार्च / Corn Starch – 1/2 cup
  • पाणी / पानी / Water – 1/2 cup
  • ब्रेड क्रम्ब / Bread crumb (regular) – 2/3 cup
  • पंको ब्रेडक्रंब / Panko Bread crumb – 1/3 cup
  • तेल / Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Mash potatoes well, break all lumps
  2. Add chili flakes, black pepper powder, cumin powder, chaat masala, salt, garam masala, chopped green pepper, chopped onion, grated carrot, coriander leaves, bread crumbs, cheese, 1 tsp oil, mix well
  3. Make dough, divide in 2-3 portions
  4. In a bowl, take corn starch, add water, mix well, make slurry
  5. In another bowl take, break crumb, and Panko bread crumb, mix
  6. Take portion of dough, roll it flat, cut in to finger size pieces
  7. Now coat with corn starch slurry, then coat with bread crumb, repeat again Ready to fry
  8. Heat oil for frying, drop in oil, turn and fry all sides till golden and crispy
  9. Crispy potato fingers are Ready to serve!

Tips

  1. Coating with bread crumb twice gives it added crispiness
  2. Shape it as you like
  3. Serve as party snack, starter
  4. Serve hot with ketchup, mayo
