Tomato Chutney | टोमॅटो चटणी

Ingredients

  • टमाटा / टमाटर / Tomato – 2
  • लाल मिरची / लाल मिर्च / Red dry chili – 4-5
  • लसुन / लेहसुन / Garlic – 2-3
  • कोथंबीर / धनिया पत्ता / Coriander leaves
  • तळलेला कांदा / तलाहुआ प्याज / Fried Onion – 2 tbsp
  • शेंगदाणे / मूंगफल्ली / Peanut powder – 1 tbsp
  • मीठ / नमक / Salt – per taste
  • साखर / शक्कर / Sugar – 1 tsp

Cooking

  1. Boil tomatoes till soft, remove tomatoes let it cool down
  2. Add dry red chilis to hot water and let ti soak for 10 min
  3. Once cooled, peel tomato skin, cut in to pieces
  4. Add garlic, coriander leaves, fired onion, peanut powder, salt, sugar, mix well
  5. Grind to paste, and ready to serve
  6. Garnish with coriander

Tips

  1. Make fine paste to get nice thick chutney
  2. Use kashmiri chili with regular spicy chili to nice color and flavor

How to serve

  1. Serve with bhaji, samosas, kachoris, any snack
