Ingredients -Pineapple shira

  • तूप / घी / Ghee – 1 tsp(for roasting nuts)
  • बदाम / Almonds sliced – 8/10
  • काजू / Cashew – 8/10
  • पिस्ता / Pistachio sliced – 6/7
  • मनुका / किशमिश / Rasins – 1 tbsp
  • अननस/ Pineapple fine chopped- 1 cup
  • मीठ / नमक / Salt – 1/4 tsp
  • तूप / घी / Ghee – 4 tbsp
  • रवा / सूजी / Semolina – 1 cup
  • साखर / शक्कर / Sugar – 3/4 cup
  • पाणी / Water – 3 cups
  • इलायची / Cardamom – 1/4 tsp

Making Shira

  1. Take pan heat on medium add 1 tsp ghee, add almonds, cashews, pistachios roast till crunchy
  2. Add resins sauté for 1 min, remove and keep aside
  3. In same pan add finely chopped pineapple, add salt and a spoon of sugar roast pineapple on medium, remove and keep aside
  4. Add 1 tbsp ghee in pan, once ghee hot on medium flame add sooji, mix and roast sooji till golden
  5. Add 1 tbsp more ghee while roasting sooji, once done remove in pan and keep aside
  6. Now In pan add 3 cups of water, bring to boil
  7. Once water boil add roasted pineapple cook for 2 min
  8. Now add roasted sooji to it and stir well
  9. Once mixture gets thicken add sugar mix well and cook on medium
  10. Add cardamom powder mix well and cook
  11. Add 1tbsp ghee and mix well, again add 1 tbsp ghee and mix well
  12. Cover and cook for 2-3 min on low-med
  13. Pineapple Sheera is readyazzcrgf

Tips

  1. Coarse sooji/ semolina is best suited for this recipe
  2. While roasting sooji, turn continuously to avoid burning
  3. Adjust sugar to your liking

How to serve

  1. Serve Hott
