Ingredients

  • Gooseberry – 6-7
  • गूळ / गुड़/ Jaggery – 1/2 cup
  • मीठ/ नमक/ Salt – to taste
  • काळ मीठ/ काला नमक/ Pink Salt – 1/2 tsp
  • जीरेपूड/ जीरा पावडर / Cumin powder – 1/2 tsp
  • िलम्बू रस/ नींबू रस / Lime juice – 1 tsp
  • अद्रक रस / अदरक रस/ Ginger juice- 1/4 tsp

Making Drink

  1. Cut gooseberry in small pieces, discard seed
  2. Grind gooseberry to fine paste, use little water to help with grinding
  3. Strain gooseberry pulp, rinse the pulp with 2 cups water, strain completely
  4. in the strained water, add pink salt, cumin powder, lime juice, jaggery, mix well
  5. Thirst quenching sharbat is ready!

Tips

  1. Use raw mango
  2. Adjust sugar to your liking
  3. Few ginger juice drops can be added

How to serve

  1. Serve chilled!
  2. Serve cold, thirst quenching summer drink
