Ingredients – Tava Pulav
- तेल / Oil – 1 tbsp
- लसुन / लेहसुन / Garlic fine chopped – 1 tsp
- कांदा / प्याज / Onion fine chopped – 1
- गाजर / Carrot fine chopped – 1
- शिमला मिर्च / Green Pepper fine chopped – 1/4 cup
- मटर / Green Peas – 1/4 cup
- टमाटर / Tomato cut – 1
- मीठ / नमक / Salt – as per taste
- तिखट / लाल मिर्च / Chili powder – 1tsp
- Pav-Bhaji Masala – 3 tsp
- बटाटा / आलू / Potato boiled and crushed – 1
- भात / पका चावल / Cooked rice – 2 cups
- Butter – 1 tbsp
- कोथंबीर / धनिया पत्ता / Coriander
Making – Tava Pulav
- Take a pan, add oil, heat on medium
- Add garlic, sauté for about 30 sec
- Add onion, sauté till onion is soft
- Add carrot, sauté till carrot turns soft
- Add green peppers, sauté till medium soft
- Add green pees, sauté till medium soft
- Add tomato, sauté till tomato is soft
- Add salt to taste, mix well
- Add chili powder, pan bhaji masala, mix well
- Add potato, mix well
- Add rice, mix well
- Add butter, mix well and sauté rice for 2-3 min on high
- Garnish with coriander, Tava Pulav is ready!
How to serve
- Serve hot!
- Serve with riata, curd

- Left over rice can be used for this recipe
- Roasting rice with all masala is important to get nice flavors
